Katie and Dave have meant so much to us over these past few years that I was honored they let me take their maternity photos. Katie and I had some warm-up time at our house and then Dave joined us for our remaining time together. I also got to follow them to Jeni's for ice cream!

When You Wish Upon a Star: Miller Family Photos

I took a trip to visit Matt, Terri, and their two young children, Jane and Jack, for some quality family time. What ensued was a lovely rendition of the alphabet song by Janey and irresistible smiles from Jack where he would scrunch up his entire face. Jane and Jack kept us all chuckling the whole time we were outside and even has me laughing all over again when preparing the photographs.

Newborn: Bethany Ann Lee

Here is that gorgeous baby that just couldn't wait to meet her Mom and Dad. She loves to stretch her limbs as much as she can, sure loves when Daddy wraps her up like a Chipotle burrito, and falls asleep in an instant when she's curled up on Mom. Also, I didn't realize how small Xbox was and how fast babies grow, but it had to be tried.

Newborn: Baby Evie

I had my first go around at baby photography. I had a fun time with Kristin and Colin taking maternity photos shortly before Evie was born and we all made plans to have a mini reunion once Evie came home. Evie was a wonderful subject and, once loaded and passed out from eating, let us play around with her as much as we wanted. Here are some of my favorite shots from our time together.

A Spoon Full of Sugar: Heather and Allen Expecting

Heather and Allen are playful people. Heather was perfectly willing to let me use her as my guinea pig. As the two of us were enjoying ourselves, Allen's curiosity was piqued and so he became involved as well. I'm so glad too, because I was able to watch them having fun together. Each time they would look at each other for a shot, Heather would burst out laughing. What's most humorous about the whole event is that their little girl ended up coming much earlier than expected. Four days after these photos were taken, Heather and Allen got to welcome Bethany Ann Lee into the world at 8:58pm, May 5th, 2011 weighing in at 7lbs 14oz.
