Yarn and Yuengling: Kyle and Mikaila Expecting

Kyle and Mikaila are into good music and good beer (for the record, "Yuengling" was the only "Y"-named beer I could think of). So we took their maternity photos doing what they love. Irony is another thing they enjoy. Like how Mikaila wanted to don the typical housewife look while pregnant at a bar. And you should have seen their tug-of-war over the "Wham!" album! I had so much fun during our shoot and you'll have to agree that this is different than any maternity photos you've seen before.

Baby is due in a few short weeks and I can't wait to meet the little guy! Your mom and dad are so excited to meet you and introduce you to all the pups waiting for you at home.

Little Foxes on the Hillside: Nursery

Steve and I are about 2 weeks away from D-Day when we welcome our little fox into the world. That means it's time to show where she'll be staying. I have to brag too that some of my favorite things we've put in her room have been lovingly hand-made by family, friends, and momma (the stuffed animal fox daddy picked up for her during his run at the Grand Canyon this summer is also top on the list).

Sweet as Ice Cream: Katie and Dave Expecting

Katie and Dave have meant so much to us over these past few years that I was honored they let me take their maternity photos. Katie and I had some warm-up time at our house and then Dave joined us for our remaining time together. I also got to follow them to Jeni's for ice cream!

A Spoon Full of Sugar: Heather and Allen Expecting

Heather and Allen are playful people. Heather was perfectly willing to let me use her as my guinea pig. As the two of us were enjoying ourselves, Allen's curiosity was piqued and so he became involved as well. I'm so glad too, because I was able to watch them having fun together. Each time they would look at each other for a shot, Heather would burst out laughing. What's most humorous about the whole event is that their little girl ended up coming much earlier than expected. Four days after these photos were taken, Heather and Allen got to welcome Bethany Ann Lee into the world at 8:58pm, May 5th, 2011 weighing in at 7lbs 14oz.
